When I was a freshman in college, 15 years ago now, I was a huge Pink Floyd fan, and I wore out my roommate's collection of Pink Floyd cassette tapes.

Now, I'm starting to get my own copies (on CD, if you can believe it), and I find that I still like them better than anything else in my collection.

Right now, I'll have to say that "Animals" is my favorite disc. Just brilliant.

In an attempt to keep up with all the cool kids (all of whom are doing it), I've started working on a little toy program in C#, just to get a feel for the language. So far, it all seems good. The monodevelop IDE is pretty nice, at least for developing toy programs.

My main complaint is that the documentation with mono isn't very complete. I'm sure it's all part of a conspiracy between Microsoft, the Flat Earth Society, and Cthulhu. I'll keep you posted if I discover anything dead that can eternal lie.

Today's lunch was Dim Sum with Mrs. F and the kids. It was good. There is nothing quite so good as little dumplings dipped in hot chili sauce.
